Privacy notice

Last updated 29 October 2026.

Who is responsible for your data

Edge of Erin, operated by Aidi Mac Dáibhí (a business name registered with the CRO, no. 602954), 45 O’Connell’s Avenue, Listowel, Co. Kerry, V31 XV63, Ireland, is responsible for the personal data collected on this website. We are a one-person business and look after your data ourselves.

What we collect and why

Card payments

Card payments are handled by Mollie B.V. (Netherlands), a licensed payment provider. Your card details go directly to Mollie and are never seen or stored by us. Mollie uses your payment data under its own privacy statement, including to prevent fraud.

Who we share your data with

We never sell your data, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing.

Data outside the EU

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, it is protected by the safeguards required by EU law, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies and your browser

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not use analytics that follow you around the web. Your basket is saved in your own browser (local storage) so it is still there when you come back; it is not sent to us until you place an order. Mollie may set cookies on the payment step for security and fraud prevention.

How long we keep it

Order records: 6 years. Members and mailing list: until you unsubscribe. Messages: as long as needed to deal with your question, and no longer than 2 years.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to take it elsewhere. You can withdraw consent for the mailing list at any time. Send us a message through our contact form and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland (dataprotection.ie) or the data protection authority in your own country.
